Laser Engraving:

Our college’s Visual Arts Club created personalized Christmas ornaments as a fund raiser. Using mirrored acrylic, students created various designs, taking orders to personalize each ornament with names and dates. The designs were engraved and cut by myself and other club members on an Epilog laser engraver. We raised over $800 in sales with minimal advertising.

With the objective of re-creating a snowflake, I selected a stock photograph of an actual snowflake and created a vector image of the outline to cut out on the laser engraver. This was personalized with the school name, or other name and date for the customer.
