Laser Engraving:

Our college’s Visual Arts Club created personalized Christmas ornaments as a fund raiser. Using mirrored acrylic, students created various designs, taking orders to personalize each ornament with names and dates. The designs were engraved and cut by myself and other club members on an Epilog laser engraver. We raised over $800 in sales with minimal advertising.

I designed this graduation hat to be engraved with name and graduation year. I added the school name and a picture to add meaning for the students at Alamance Community College. The image of the college was an original photograph which I took and redrew as vector art in Adobe Illustrator.
